The phone is expected to share the keynote stage with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, keeping Apple’s traditional autumn cadence.

Leaked specs sketch a clamshell-style handset that folds out to roughly 7.8 inches and snaps shut to a pocketable 5.5 inches. Apple is reportedly using a new titanium-aluminum chassis to shave grams while stiffening the frame, and supplier samples point to a nearly crease-less OLED panel built by Samsung Display. Face ID is being dropped in favor of a side-mounted Touch ID/power button, while the first-generation A20 chip paired with 12 GB of RAM is expected to handle the larger canvas.
